Pandora, Avatar's lush 3D otherworld, is a forest paradise brimming with mysterious plants, flowers, and sentient trees. In one scene, Neytiri gives Jake a round fruit that looks similar to our passion fruit, a key flavor in this new cocktail we created for Oscar night. We imagine if there were a bar on Pandora, this would be its signature drink.

1/4 cup light rum

2 tablespoons frozen passion fruit concentrate blend (from a 12 oz. can)

1 small kaffir lime leaf, torn into several pieces, or 1 tsp. lime zest

2 teaspoons fresh lime juice

1/4 cup soda water

Put 1 cup ice in a cocktail shaker. Add juice concentrate, lime leaf, lime juice; shake well to blend. Strain into 2 martini glasses, dividing evenly. Top each glass with 2 tbsp. soda water. Serve with a lime wedge as garnish.
