Fried Saltines

How do you make saltines better? Fry them! It’s a cheffy trick that takes the dip experience over the top.

How to Make It

In a shallow pan, bring oil to 375°.

Fry the saltines in batches until golden brown, about 3 minutes.

Place on a paper towel and season with salt and pepper while warm. They will stay fresh in an airtight container for one day.

neutral oil, such as canola
1 box saltines
sea salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
