How to Make It
Step 1

In a cocktail shaker, muddle strawberries and basil leaves until berries are mashed.
Step 2

Add pisco, lemon juice, 1/2 to 3/4 oz. simple syrup (depending on how sweet you like your drinks), and ice. Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass.
Step 3

Top with wine and garnish with a small basil sprig.
Ingredients
2 strawberries
2 fresh basil leaves, plus a basil sprig
1 1/2 ounces pisco
1 ounce lemon juice
1/2 to 3/4 oz. simple syrup
2 ounces dry, aromatic white wine (such as Torrontés or Gewürztraminer)
