If you’re Swedish, Lurvig means “shaggy.” But if you’re a pet, it means being reminded every day how loved you are—after all, how many pets have their own pieces of furniture? IKEA’s newest Lurvig products, designed with input by experts in pet behavior, make your pet’s dream of comfortable carriers and couches they’re never shooed off of come true.
Four major pieces have been added to IKEA’s popular Lurvig line. They include:

This cozy and uber-affordable cat hideaway comes in a variety of colors and patterns so there’s sure to be one that matches your furniture. And if you already happen to have a Kallax shelving system, that’s truly a match made in design heaven, because the cat house is made to fit perfectly in that unit’s cubbies. (Also, if you want to purchase this for a small dog, we won’t tell.)
Cat/Dog Bed

If you already own a Klippan sofa, we don’t have to tell you how comfortable it is. We assure you that your pet loves it as much as you do, and wishes you would pick up the new Lurvig cat/dog bed, which is a perfect tiny replica of the Klippan. The small version works with a machine-washable cover ($15), so it’s easy to keep it looking as clean and nice as yours.
Pet Bed Frame
