Whether you’ve Instagrammed photos of them on a touristy twirl around San Francisco or recognize them from the opening credits of “Full House,” the seven Painted Ladies lining Alamo Square are, collectively, one of the city’s most iconic architectural sights. Houzz TV has the scoop on how the original Painted Lady on the block got a magical renovation. What’s so special about this project? A vintage Victorian got modernized but still paid homage to its origins with careful restoration of period details such as an elegant gaslit chandelier in the foyer and stained-glass windows throughout.
