A DIY terrarium filled with succulents that evoke a vibrant underwater scene
Succulentsand glass terrariums are two trends we can’t get enough of, and this easy DIY terrarium with an underwater aesthetic marries them together perfectly. With their natural resemblance to certain creatures of the deep, succulents are the perfect plants for this project. We used fishhooks, lithops, and sea green haworthia succulent types to nail the look, in addition to a white aragonite crystal. Carefully placed inside a glass terrarium atop washed aquarium or horticultural sand, these elements act together to evoke a delicately stunning undersea scene. For a long-lasting piece of decor, be sure to display your terrarium in bright light; the plants will only need to be watered sparingly.
